Chuck Ryer 1998

Triple Minor Longways waltz

1 - 8 1s and 2s turn partners 1 1/4 by RH into Promenade position, all facing clockwise, couples circle halfway to change ends, then turn single out to progressed places.

17-24 1R dances up the middle, 3R casting down one place, then 1R dances out and around 2R, cuts between the 2s, dances up around 2L and to meet partner the middle. At the same time 1L casts up, 3L dancing down one place, crosses over and dances up and around 2R, to meet partner at the top and lead down.
25-32 Crossover heys on the sides. To begin 1L gives RS to 3R and 1R gives LS to 2L. 1s cross to their own sides halfway through the heys.

Note: to make this dance a set dance for six, the 1s and 3s need to make an additional pass at the end of the hey.

Devised for my wife Beth as a valentine, honoring her gifts as a weaver and wreath maker.

Hadley House is the home of my wife's parents, Ron and Dell Hadley. Hadley House is my favorite place in the whole world. In part it is my favorite because of the beautiful setting in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Mainly, I love it there because their home is filled with the warmth and joy of family. This (hopefully) joyful dance is offered with love and gratitude for the many years I have been privileged to be a part of their family.
