OPEN DOOR NETWORKS ANNOUNCES ISFYM.COM -- A SECURITY BLOG FOR THE REST OF US

ASHLAND, OR. -- February 14, 2006 -- Open Door Networks Inc. today announced that it is publishing a Web log ("blog") on the topic of Macintosh Internet security. Available at http://www.isfym.com, the blog is intended to supplement the new second edition of Open Door's book "Internet Security for Your Macintosh: A Guide for the Rest of Us," as well as its other Internet security products. The blog is implemented in a simple, easy-to-follow style, targeted at typical Macintosh users.

The goal of ISFYM.COM is to help Mac users better implement the tagline of its flagship DoorStop X Security Suite: "Learn. Protect. Understand." Through the blog, users will be better able to keep current with the rapid-paced field of Internet security as it specifically applies to their Macintosh computers and local networks. "Keeping current with Internet security issues is critical," said Alan Oppenheimer, Open Door president and one of the blog's authors. "We hope our blog will help Mac users understand and implement needed security measures in a more timely manner."

Open Door's blog includes RSS (Really Simple Syndication) support, letting users browse its headlines through an RSS reader like Safari under Mac OS 10.4 Tiger. Initial items in the blog include a discussion of the security of Apple's new Intel Macs as well as a "comical" view on the lack of Internet security in most computers on the Internet today. The blog is implemented using Apple's new iWeb application, continuing Open Door's decade-long tradition of utilizing leading Macintosh Internet technologies wherever possible.
