Internet Security for Your Macintosh, second edition, is a major update to the first book specifically dedicated to Macintosh Internet security. It is also the first electronic release of the book, available standalone or as part of the DoorStop X Security Suite. New features of the second edition include:
- PDF version. HTML version directly integrated into our DoorStop X Firewall and Who's There? Firewall Advisor products.
- Updated for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), including a complete chapter on the Sharing System Preferences dialog.
- Includes security issues with new "digital hub" services such as iTunes and iPhoto.
- Discussions of new security concerns such as "phishing" schemes and peer-to-peer sharing services.
