This collection of photographic images and fine art prints has been produced entirely out of my passion for the art of photography.
Photography offers a method of investigating man made landscapes and the natural world that I can better express through images than through words. My strong interest in environmental perception and the built environment led me to a career in cartography and ultimately urban planning. Through my photography I aim to express a unique perception of the environment, or more precisely our relationship to our surroundings. The pure aesthetic beauty of the the physical environment, as people seldom experience it, is reflected in the explorations of my "macro photography". I am particularly facinated with the minute details of nature, and the everyday objects that go unnoticed, the realm of macro photography is one way to truly enjoy a perspective that is new and exciting.
