The DoorStop X Security Suite is an integrated, comprehensive approach to securing your Macintosh on the Internet. Each component of the Suite is designed to work with and use features provided by the others.

As of August 28, 2009, Apple is shipping its new Snow Leopard operating system, Mac OS X 10.6. Snow Leopard is a "fine tuning" of Leopard, Mac OS X 10.5. Whereas Leopard introduced a large number of new Internet features, Snow Leopard further refines many of those features.

Open Door has been busy both verifying that our current security products work on Snow Leopard, and "fine tuning" those products to be more Snow Leopard specific. We have tested all DoorStop X Security Suite components with the "Golden Master" version of Snow Leopard, and can safely say that they continue to work as designed.

We hope to have the "fine tuned" Security Suite, version 2.3, available in the October timeframe. Suite 2.3 products will have specific features for Snow Leopard, including service details and advice for that OS. They will also include a number of new and enhanced items for both Leopard and Snow Leopard.

Until Suite 2.3 is available, our associated blog, isfym.com, will be the place to turn to for information and advice on specific Snow Leopard Internet security features and evolving issues. The blog is integrated into the current Suite products and can be searched using the "Book" menu.

Anyone purchasing any of our security products on or after August 28, 2009 will be eligible for a free upgrade to the 2.3 versions when available.
