I’m an agent. How do I work with Opendoor?

Opendoor works with agents every day to provide their clients with more options for buying and selling homes. In fact, our brokerages paid more than $50 million in commissions and referrals to other brokerages in 2018, and more than $133 million in 2019.

We understand how important agents are for countless homebuyers and sellers, which is why we’ve been partnering with local agents and collecting their feedback since day one. If you’re an agent and you want to learn more about Opendoor, visit opendoor.com/agents.

Buyer agents

For buyer agents, you and your clients can access Opendoor homes using our mobile app (iOS and Android) or with our text-to-enter system. Visit any day of the week between 6 am and 9 pm, no appointment needed. We honor your client relationship even when your clients visit the house on their own. Once your client has found his or her dream home, you can submit an offer via our agent portal at opendoor.com/make-offer. You can also refer to the Private Remarks in the MLS listing for the property-specific instructions.

Listing agents

For listing agents, we’re happy to work directly with you to facilitate your client’s home sale. You can request an offer for your client by visiting opendoor.com/agents. Pro tip: Request an offer before you list on the MLS for a more competitive price. When it comes to commissions there are two ways agents can get paid, learn more.
