You must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by a registered adult to visit an Opendoor home.
Watch out for rental scams
All Opendoor homes are For sale only! They are not for rent. If you are touring one of our homes that claims to be for rent, it is a scam. Please contact us at trust@opendoor.com immediately.
Be courteous to anyone you meet
You may run into other home shoppers during your tour. (They may be there when you arrive, or they may arrive during your tour.) Don’t forget to say hello!
Always follow the law
If it’s illegal outside an Opendoor home, it’s illegal inside an Opendoor home. We care about your well-being, and we will involve law enforcement if we’re made aware of threats to yourself or others.
Weapons are not allowed anywhere on the property
Treat each property and community with respect
- Don’t use our facilities (including the pool, showers and appliances).
- Don’t smoke, vape, consume alcohol or use any illegal substances in our homes.
- Only enter the home through the front door and only allow members of your party to enter with you.
- Be mindful of the neighbors—don’t do anything that causes a disruption or annoyance.
Don’t take, tamper with, or damage items that do not belong to you
Do not tamper with the security equipment. Feel free to take informational materials. If you bring anything into the house with you, take it with you when you leave.
You are responsible for any damages and injuries
By accessing this home, you accept legal and financial responsibility for any damage you or your companions cause to the premises and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any bodily, mental, or personal injury, including death, relating to or arising from accessing or visiting the premises.
Ensure the door is securely closed and locked when you leave
Be sure that the door is securely closed behind you when you’ve finished your visit. The door should lock automatically after 30 seconds.
