We are expanding Opendoor's Hero's Home Credit to include sellers. Eligible military and veteran households can now receive:
- $4,000 when selling their home to Opendoor
- $4,000 toward closing costs when buying an Opendoor home
For families who do both, that is up to $8,000 total, subject to eligibility verification and program terms.
Who is eligible
The Hero's Home Credit is available to active-duty military members and veterans. Eligibility is verified via military ID or DD-214 showing honorable discharge.
