# Hero's Home Credit Now Includes Sellers

For active-duty military and veterans, moving comes with enough complexity. The cost of selling your home should not add to it.

We are expanding Opendoor's Hero's Home Credit to include sellers. Eligible military and veteran households can now receive:

- $4,000 when selling their home to Opendoor
- $4,000 toward closing costs when buying an Opendoor home

For families who do both, that is up to $8,000 total, subject to eligibility verification and program terms.

**Who is eligible**

The Hero's Home Credit is available to active-duty military members and veterans. Eligibility is verified via military ID or DD-214 showing honorable discharge.

**How to get started**

1. Visit opendoor.com/heroes.
2. If you are selling, enter your home address to start your Opendoor offer.
3. If you are buying, explore available homes.
4. Verify your military status. We will apply the Hero's Home Credit to your transaction.
