Builder Referral Fee Details

Eligible transactions must meet all of the following requirements:

The customer must not be represented by a real estate agent on the transaction. If an agent is involved at close, no referral fee is paid.
The customer must not have a previous Opendoor referral or offer request in the last 180 days.
The referral must originate from you: your personal referral link, a submission from your partner dashboard, or an offer you generate in your sales center. You must be attributed to the transaction in Opendoor's system before the final cash offer accepted by the customer is active.
You must sign up with your builder work email, and your account must be verified and in good standing.
The transaction must close. Payments are made after closing. Homes actively listed on the MLS within the previous 30 days, and homes owned by you or a member of your household, are not eligible.
Your transaction count resets each calendar year. Referral fee rates follow the bonus structure published on the builders page: 1.00% for your first eligible closed transaction of the year, increasing per transaction to 2.00% for your fifth and beyond.

Opendoor may modify or end this program at any time. Referral fees are reported as required by applicable tax law.
